Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") describes prohibited conduct when using Jade. This AUP is incorporated into the Terms of Use.

1. General Requirements

You may use the Services only for lawful purposes and in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and these Policies.

2. Prohibited Activities

You may not, and may not attempt to:

2.1 Security and Platform Integrity

  • access or use the Services in a way intended to avoid incurring fees or to bypass access restrictions;
  • probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of any system or network without written authorization;
  • interfere with, disrupt, or overload the Services, including via denial-of-service attacks;
  • introduce malware, viruses, worms, Trojan horses, or other harmful code;
  • attempt to gain unauthorized access to accounts, systems, or data.

2.2 Data Misuse and Privacy Violations

  • collect or harvest personal information from the Services except as permitted for event operations;
  • use the Services to track or profile individuals unlawfully;
  • upload or share personal information you do not have the right to process;
  • attempt to re-identify de-identified or aggregated data.

2.3 Misrepresentation and Fraud

  • impersonate another person or entity;
  • submit false registration or payment information;
  • engage in fraudulent transactions or chargeback abuse.

2.4 Intellectual Property and Abuse

  • reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive source code except where prohibited by law;
  • copy, modify, or create derivative works of the Services beyond what is permitted;
  • scrape, crawl, or use automated means to access the Services without permission.

2.5 AI Feature Misuse

  • use AI Features to generate unlawful, harmful, or deceptive content;
  • attempt to extract confidential information or personal data through prompts;
  • use AI outputs as the sole basis for high-risk decisions without appropriate safeguards;
  • perform model extraction, prompt injection testing, or benchmarking without written authorization.

3. Enforcement

MCI may investigate suspected violations and may suspend or terminate access, remove content, or take other action as permitted by law and our agreements. We may also report unlawful activity to law enforcement or regulators where appropriate.

To report abuse or security issues, contact legal@wearemci.com (or your designated support channel if you are an Organizer under contract under the terms of an executed Master Agreement).
